As the Windows Home Server Power Pack 1 beta progresses, we’ve got a really exciting opportunity for you to connect directly with the Windows Home Server Team, share your feedback and ask any questions you wish about the product, about Power Pack 1, what work is going on at the moment – anything that springs to mind, really.
I’m delighted that Jonas Svensson, Microsoft’s Community Program Manager for Windows Home Server will be popping into the We Got Served forums a couple of times over the next few weeks and has reserved time to answer your questions on Windows Home Server.
We’ve set up a special thread on the forums for you to ask questions and share your thoughts – Jonas will be in the forums tomorrow (Friday 27th June) and again the following week (Thursday July 3rd), so make sure you think of a few questions and get them in early to ensure they get answered.
Here’s a little background on Jonas and his role:
Jonas Svensson is the Community Program Manager for Windows Home Server. As an Community PM, he works with MVP’s, beta testers, end users and the Windows Home Server team to improve the both the community and product experiences. Jonas started with the home server team in April of this year, but has been a beta tester of Windows Home Server since it’s early days.
Prior to joining the Windows Home Server team he worked as a Supportability Program Manager and Escalation Engineer in the Consumer Windows Support Organization. Before joining Microsoft in 2000, Jonas worked in technical support/network administration in both the payroll and healthcare industries.
The forum is open for you to ask whatever questions you wish – in particular, Jonas is interested in hearing your thoughts on the following:
- What do you like the most about Power Pack 1?
- What do you like least about Power Pack 1?
- If you participated in previous Windows Home Server betas how does the Power Pack 1 beta compare?
- Any Windows Home Server stories to share? Good, bad or otherwise, I will share these with the rest of the team
