Off to Berlin for HP’s “Connecting Your World”

I’ll be away for a few days travelling to Berlin to see HP’s “Connecting Your World” event in Berlin. From what I gather, HP use these kind of large scale events to talk about their successes of the previous year, and showcase their plans for the coming year – they invite journalists from all over the world, and I see that the blogger community will be well represented with Ian Dixon from The Media Center Show also attending, as well as the guys from GottaBeMobile. Looks like I’m in pretty illustrious company….

I’m hoping to get my hands back on the MediaSmart TV  and Receiver once again, as I only had a fleeting chance to check them out earlier this year at CES. I’m not sure, but I’m hoping we may hear about HP’s plans for Windows Home Server in the coming year too. As well as a series of breakout sessions and presentations, I’ll also have some 1:1 time with a few HP execs, so please send me through your questions – I’m certainly going to raise the recent issues we’ve seen with HP’s UK support – what else do you want to know?

I’ll be posting live and direct from Berlin, so stay tuned - in the meantime, HP’s PR guys also have a blog covering the event, and I’d keep an eye on Ian Dixon and GottaBeMobile too.
