Over at the forums, we’re running a poll to understand what type of Windows Home Server system you are running.
As well as the limited numbers of commercial systems available (HP Mediasmart Server et al.) we’ve included the option to identify your system as either a new custom build or a “recycled” system. So far, 37 readers have submitted their systems, but to get a good understanding of what’s out there, we need to know what YOU’RE running!
Although it is still early days it’s interesting to see that 42% of the systems are recycled and 54% of the custom build systems are AMD Processor based. There is no surprise that of the commercial systems the HP Media Smart is well ahead with 80% of the commercial system share – but only 22% of the total number of systems.
