Congratulations to Our Diskeeper 2008 HomeServer Winners!

dk20081 150x150 Congratulations to Our Diskeeper 2008 HomeServer Winners!

Thanks to everyone who entered last week’s Diskeeper 2008 HomeServer competition! We had a massive response from you all, and in fact, when the guys at Diskeeper read through everyone’s comments, they thought that they were so funny, that they gave us an upgrade and handed out not one, but six Diskeeper 2008 HomeServer licenses!

So, today I pulled out six lucky winners at random (my random fact: I did it based on license plates I saw on cars travelling from San Francisco to Monterey this afternoon). So, give a big hand to:

  • TomTom
  • Stig
  • Matthew
  • PeterPeter
  • Ben
  • ptitdav6

Congratulations to the winners, thanks to you all for ebtering (and for great facts and nice comments about WGS!) and let’s all give a big thank you to Derek over at Diskeeper for the licenses!

For those of you who didn’t win this time, you can check out more information about Diskeeper 2008 HomeServer over at Diskeeper’s website and you can purchase the software for $69.99. For what it’s worth, I’ve mentioned to Diskeeper that a home server/client licence pack would be a great idea – apparently, it’s something they’re considering in the future.

Pssst: I have another competition, but this time, it’s for Diskeeper’s competition, Raxco.

??? Not sure what he ment?

  • Ben

He meant that winning this software was the final encouragement to get off his duff and build his WHS machine … something that had been on back-burner for about a month.

    Hi!

I’m one of the lucky winners! A big thank you to Terry and Derek :)

I just downloaded the product and installed it on my WHS OEM Server.
For information, after the installation, the Add-In is in C:Program FilesDiskeeper CorporationDiskeeperDiskeeperWHS.msi.

I’ll try to keep you informed and I’ll give you a feedback on Diskeeper.
