Recorded TV Manager is a new add-in from Fredrick Drash which monitors Recorded TV folders on your Media Center home computers and automatically moves or copies the content over to your home server.
The add-in is based on Recorded TV Manager 2 and is currently in beta – Fredrick submitted the add-in for the Code2Fame developer competition, which is being judged this week in Redmond. Check out Fredrick’s competition submission video.
Currently, only Media Center’s DVR-MS file format is compatible with the add-in, but given WHS’ lack of support for backing up Recorded TV files, this add-in is a must have for any Media Center owner.
